Initial Assessment and Emergency Operations Plan Review

The consulting team begins with an initial assessment to understand the school's current safety measures, policies, and procedures. This includes reviewing existing safety plans, emergency response strategies, and any previous incidents to gauge the program's effectiveness.

Through the initial assessment, consultants identify gaps and weaknesses in the current safety framework. This involves looking at physical security measures, such as access controls and surveillance systems, as well as policies, communication plans, and emergency preparedness.
